We have two guest speakers scheduled who will present information geared to helping you to SELL MORE and SAVE MONEY. They are:
Philip Clements, CEO of Cathedral Consulting Group, LLC. Formerly Phil was Executive Vice President of Standard & Poor’s and CEO of Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting division. Prior to working with Standard & Poor’s, Phil was the President of the investment bank Coopers & Lybrand Securities. Currently Phil is an adjunct faculty member of Rutgers University Graduate Program teaching Business Valuation. Phil will be discussing Value Realization. Topics covered will be:
• Why do business owners buy or sell.
• Identifiability and transferability of value.
• Nuances of buy-sell agreements.
Evan Swalling, Vice President of Sales, UR Energy Inc. Among other things Evan will be discussing
• Background of NJ Smart Start Buildings Program and NJ Clean Energy Program....
• How much savings is realistic on your electric/gas bills (20-70%) and who is eligible and what type of old equipment is eligible for rebates.
• How the process is handled from A-Z by UR Energy...
• Electricity and Natural Gas supply discounts through 3rd party suppliers...(Electric is guaranteed right now in NJ)
• Explain how it costs our clients nothing out of pocket to take advantage of these programs. We complete all the work up front and merely split the savings 50/50 until the job is paid off.
NOTE: An NJTMA member who took advantage of one of a program offered by UR Energy saved several thousand dollars on his yearly utility costs simply by changing the lighting in his plant.

From Lake Avenue in Clark: Follow Lake Avenue West. Bear left past Goodman’s Crossing and it will turn into Martine Avenue. After passing over the NJ Transit Raritan Valley Line near Fanwood Station (between North and South Aves) you will soon be on Park Avenue. Just before Route 22, make a left onto Mountain Ave and Snuffy’s is right there at Park and Mountain.
Route 22 East: (Scotch Plains, Berkeley Heights, Fanwood, New Providence Exit) - Make a right turn at the exit (under overpass) and then go straight on Park Avenue for about 100 yards. Snuffy's will be on the right.
Route 22 West: (Scotch Plains, Berkeley Heights, Fanwood, New Providence Exit) - At the exit, make a right turn. At the traffic light, make a left turn and take the overpass over Route 22. At the end of the overpass, make a right onto Park Avenue. Snuffy's will be on the right.
Garden State Parkway: (North and South) - Take Exit 140 from the Garden State Parkway and follow the signs for Route 22 West. Once on Route 22 West, follow the directions for Route 22 West.
Route 78: (East and West) - Take Exit 41 from Route 78. Follow the signs to Scotch Plains. This will put you onto Plainfield Avenue. Follow Plainfield Avenue straight through the traffic light, where it becomes Bonnie Burn Road. Follow Bonnie Burn Road to the next traffic light and make a right turn. Follow the overpass over Route 22. At the end of the overpass, make a right onto Park Avenue. Snuffy's will be on the right.
New Jersey Turnpike: (North and South) - Take Exit 14 from the New Jersey Turnpike and follow the signs to Route 78 West. Once on Route 78 West, follow the directions from Route 78.
