The New Jersey Tooling and Manufacturing Association was established in 1943 and incorporated in 1945 by a small group of manufacturing companies who thought they could better themselves by associating with one another. Through the years, members established programs and services that would help their businesses grow and prosper.

A Board of Directors composed of executives from member firms governs NJTMA. A small full-time staff works closely with the Board and its committees.
